I am a dedicated educator, mentor, and global health professional with a passion for empowering students and professionals to achieve their academic and career aspirations. With extensive experience in international public health organizations, research centers, and the pharmaceutical industry across Africa, the UK, and Germany, I have navigated diverse global education and career pathways.

As a multiple-time recipient of prestigious global scholarships, awards, and fellowships—including the Chevening Scholarship (2021/22) and the Afrika Kommt! Fellowship (2022/24)—I understand firsthand what it takes to secure competitive opportunities. As a published author and an advocate for global health and educational equity, I co-founded Empowered Global to provide strategic mentorship, personalized guidance, and practical resources. My goal is to help students and professionals unlock opportunities, gain admission to top programs, and build impactful careers in their chosen fields.

Saron F. Habtemichael, MBA

I am a passionate public health leader, educator, and mentor committed to advancing global health, education, and health equity. With extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, education consulting, and serving as a brand ambassador for foreign universities, I have supported students and professionals in navigating academic and career opportunities worldwide. As the Executive Director of GIV Society Ethiopia, I lead initiatives addressing health disparities and enhancing community well-being through sustainable, data-driven solutions. My journey as an international student in the U.S. inspired me to co-found Empowered Global, providing mentorship and guidance to students pursuing higher education abroad.

My work in public health and education has been recognized through prestigious fellowships, including induction into the TriBeta Biological Honor Society (Psi Zeta Chapter, 2020), the 2024 Public 360 Fellowship for global health and education projects. Through mentorship and strategic guidance, I am dedicated to helping students and professionals unlock transformative opportunities, gain admission to leading institutions, and build impactful careers.
